Special Requirements: Good mic, no effects. If whoever gets the part where they say "ass", you can omit if you don't feel comfortable saying it. (Some people are.. so)
Due Date: April 23rd - (If you need more time, no problem. I'm just impatient, haha)
I know, I know I'm going back in time, but it's too catchy. I've been itching to do this one for ages, but it doesn't sound right with one person. I'd love to find 2 other ladies interested in doing this song as well! Check out the track and think about it.
I will mix and make the vid. :) There is no rap in the instrumental I have and I can't find the one with the rap, so it'll just be omitted. Thanks to anyone who wants to join.

Gotcha down as 1 :).
Hara, yeah kind of. I don't have a vocal remover so to speak, but I have a technique I've used for years (I used to make remixes, lol) so I used to manually make instrumentals and acapellas. It usually works really well but this song it doesn't sound too good. I guess I could change the channels and invert using Vegas instead of using Acid... it may come out better. I might try. Keep yall updated if I get it done.
Collab is closed :). I'd love to have it completed in 2 weeks, but if that isn't enough time for you ladies let me know. Usually when I get doing something I finish it right quick, and don't need a lot of time, so I don't know how much time would be appropriate.
Happy recording :)

Hi there. I actually read the thread when I fi rst signed up and before posting. When I posted the code it didnt change the colour at all. All it did was show the code. I assumed because everyones was black that the colouring didnt work. Are other peoples coloured because Im seeing black topics for everything... I am on my phone but I will try to fix it when I get home. I dunno how I will check to make sure its working though.. I guess someone can tell me lol. Sorry for the technical difficulties.
I found a drop down box for colour and it says it's blue, but mine and everyone elses is still black. Let me know if it's not fixed, cause I ain't seeing a difference, lol thanks.

Awww, haha. I mean I'll say with confidence that I am not the WORST singer ever, lol. Thanks so much.
Ladies I finished the collab :D. I added some funky reverb to my verse at the beginning cause I sounded terrible, LOL. Hopefully it made it a bit better.
I hope you guys don't mind that I recorded the random bits in the back of Lisa going "Yeah uh" and stuff like that. It was a last minute thing that was bothering me. As I was watching the video in Vegas, she was mimicking words that we didn't have in our collab! So I added them in so it didn't look stupid, LOL.
I think we kicked butt on the chorus. Using the panning left and right ear method with our voices doubled once, made such a fuller sound. The original had a bunch of backup singers, so I think the doubling helped compensate for the lack of it.

Woman, you're insanely talented at mixing. I would have never come up with that and made the colLab look all stupid with random parts where the singer would sing and no one would be saying anything xD
